Our focus is on individual player and tactical team development.

Tryouts are an integral part of the process of selecting a club.  We believe there needs to be a mutual strong desire to join the Cobras between the new player and the club for a successful merger.  Our tryouts are structured to have the prospective player join in with a regular training session with their possible future teammates while working with one of the many qualified staff coaches.  This process not only helps the player get an overall feel for the club but also provides the coaching staff the opportunity to observe the player’s level of skill and tactical understanding.

Pre-High School Fall Tryouts

Because of the new U.S. Club Soccer carding format, the Cleveland Cobras are looking for talented, committed boys and girls, U9–U14, to strengthen our established teams.

We are not simply filling roster spots—we are looking for a few quality players at every position, from goalkeeper to striker, who are ready to compete, develop, and contribute to our strong squads.

High School Girls Tryouts

Under high school regulations, girls’ tryouts cannot be held until their school team has been eliminated from the playoffs. However, players may register now to express their interest. We welcome players from all high school grade levels. 

Fall Tryout Sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays at Parkview Soccer Fields in Mayfield Village.
